Reishi Spore Oil, The Jing Of Reishi

Though it may be hard to believe that there is an even more bioactive form of reishi mushroom that has its own set of unique qualities ready to enter your body and make some upgrades, it is true. Like the concentrated extract, reishi spore oil still comes with all the amazing qualities of the mushroom itself, such as immune-modulation, stress relief, liver protection, shen support, and adaptogenic qualities, but with the spore oil, you get a few extra bonuses in a very special way.

What is Reishi Spore Oil?

First of all, so we all understand, spores are what the reishi releases when it becomes a mature mushroom.  In essence, they’re its essence.  They come in powder form.  Reishi spore oil is the oil that is extracted from the spore powder and is a transparent amber color.

Why is it so Expensive?

I’m sure this is one of the first on everyone’s mind.  Reishi spore oil is so expensive because it is extremely concentrated.  It is basically the essential oil, not even of the mushroom itself, but of the spores, where essential nutrients of reishi mushroom can be found.

It takes:

• 1000 kg of mature Dunwood Reishi fruiting bodies to produce up to only I kg of spores.
• Over 1000 kg of spores to produce 1-3 kg of spore oil.

So, hopefully that illustrates how mush reishi mushroom is packed into every bottle, or every capsule even.  The number may seem astronomical, but if you do the math, a staggering 1,000,000 kg reishi mushrooms are require to produce but a few kg of spore oil, hence, why it is so expensive.

Reishi Spore Oil vs. Reishi Extract

As mentioned above, reishi spore oil has all the same wonderful attributes of the reishi extract.  However, the concentration of the spore oil is unmatched.  Reishi spore oil also contains high amounts of the nucleosides and triterpenes found in reishi.  Triterpenes are, in fact, the most concentrated chemical constituent of the oil.  One softgel of reishi spore oil is 33% triterpenes.  One capsule of Hyperion Nutrition’s Reishi Spore Oil is 500 mg, which means that each capsule has 165 mg of triterpenes.  At the highest concentration of any reishi product, it is also the most bioavailable and easily assimilated.  It can be said that reishi spore oil is the pure essence of the essence, of reishi.  In other words, the “jing.”

What’s it feel like?

The main thing I’ve noticed is that familiar reishi kind of high, but much stronger and faster to set it in. This has been confirmed and corroborated by everyone that I’ve let try it as well.
